Estonia

Once in Estonia, one must of course see the capital Tallinn. The eight-hundred-year-old city is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe. Here, the Middle Ages and modernity meet and mix with ancient mythology to create an incomparably varied experience. Leaving the medieval old town, you are only a few steps away from the vibrant business centre, where shopping fans and trendy visitors get their money's worth.

More than half of the rest of the country is covered by forest, which is inhabited by many different animal species. Accordingly, a visit to a national park is an absolute must on any trip to Estonia. The wild and untouched beauty of nature not only makes the hearts of nature lovers beat faster. Only a stone's throw from Tallinn, for example, lies the Laheema National Park on the country's coast. Numerous large mammals such as bears and moose live here. Not least because of this, this national park is one of the most important areas for nature conservation in Europe.

Another special feature of the small Baltic state are Estonia's more than 2000 islands. Many of them are uninhabited, yet they have a charm all their own and can be reached easily by ferry from the mainland. Although they are mostly uninhabited, you can explore them in the footsteps of man. Visitors will find old lighthouses, windmills, abandoned villages and ancient churches and fortresses. It is a wonderful place to walk along the coast in the footsteps of the Vikings.

Estonia is waiting to be discovered. Find out what our incoming partners have in store for your clients!
