Christine Eckhard, whom we all know as "Tine," has not only delved into ancient cultures through her studies in archaeology and cultural sciences but has also firmly established herself in the travel industry. At Thomas Cook, she managed various international destinations before moving into a central role at headquarters. From 2018 to 2022, she served as the go-to person for a range of fascinating countries at STR Destination Handling, spanning from Armenia to Greece. She then spent two years exploring the media industry, but her passion for tourism proved irresistible.

Since September 2024, she has brought her expertise to MacSun Travel’s quotation department and is once again based in our STR office – as if she never left! :-) While she now juggles numbers for MacSun Travel, she remains, for us, the colleague with a keen eye for what matters most and an unwavering passion for travel.
